(no subject)
Okay it's looking highly unlikely my Being Human Big Bang's going to finished in time, but I think I'm just gonna chill and try and finish it in my own sweet time. My mind gets for too bored trying to write long fic especially in a chronological order, which means my Big Bang as it stands is a number of unlinked scenes writen as and when the ispiration struck, leaving the slightly dull bits (ie the ones where Mitch isn't sexing up Annie, or whatevers) to be added in last, when my heart isn't really in it.
What have a learnt from this? I have ADD where my writing's concerned and I need to stop trying to deny this and signing up for more and more Big Bangs. I'm better off just writing smaller fics as and when I want when no pressure. The pressure takes the fun out it and so it also removes any desire to actually write anything at all :/
RPs going quite well though, which is nice. I've streamlined my muse list a great deal, left a game that I'd not felt comfortable in since Xmas and picked up a couple of interesting PB PSLs that I'm really enjoying although one is currently on hiatus.
All in all then I'm pretty happy with my writing. I just need to remember despite what I may claim in job interviews I do not work well to deadlines!
