I can still feel the band around my stomach a little, so when I sit, it scrunches, and I prefer not to feel that if I can. Hard to explain.
I can kind of understand what you're saying. Even now after over two months out of surgery, and my hair having grown a considerable amount over the scar, I can still physically feel that there's something there. It's sensitive, not in the manner that it hurts, but I'm still really careful when I put my hair in a clip, or when I put my sunglasses on that I don't even come close to touching it because it squicks me out. I'd rather not feel it. I saw it when my mom took a picture of it because I was curious as to how it looked. But yay, I'm glad things are going well for you.
On another note, I liked reading about your daughters and I can kind of see what you mean. I have no kids of my own, but I have had a couple of them from last year who are now in kindergarten come and visit and yes they're all teenager-ish too compared to last year. As for your youngest, I've had a couple of kids in my class who are also finally coming out of their shell too so I can understand the relief coming from there.
