Hello, everyone! I suppose I ought to stop observing and properly introduce myself now, before anything else. I am Miss Mina Murray - Wilhemina, to be precise, but you needn't be formal. I'm afraid you may be under a misconception already, for my name is listed as Mina Harker. Jonathan Harker, however, is my fiance, not yet my husband. This is ( Read more... )

Mina! Oh! Mina, darling, I am so glad you're here! I've -I've been observing as well, and I wasn't sure...

Anyway! Oh, it's so lovely to have a friend here! And my dearest friend, at that! ::runs to Mina and hugs her in a supremely flouncy fashion::

I'll have to introduce myself...

Lucy! When did you arrive here - have you been here all this time? Oh, but it's wonderful to find you again! Now I know my stay here shall be complete.

You've not yet met the others, I take it?

I have been here all this time - can you imagine! I've been too shy to say anything thus far. But now that I know you're here, I'll certainly introduce myself.

No, I haven't met anyone yet. Is there anyone we know here?

Perhaps you know your way around better than I do - I've only caught bits of the others' conversations, but I don't want to intrude. And I sincerely doubt you'll have any trouble at all with your introduction.

::embraces warmly:: No, dearest, I doubt it. I doubt any of our acquaintance would have come.

I've only looked around a little - I didn't want to snoop - but...this place is very interesting. And dark.

::smiles and embraces her back:: You're right, of course you are. I was simply hoping perhaps Arthur might be here...

Yes, it is...I don't suppose it would be presumptuous of me to add coals to the fire? We really can't have you catching cold, and I have yet to see any servants round the place.

Why, do you mean you have not heard from him?

::giggling:: Mina, you fret too much over me. I shall just have to fetch a shawl, and you're not to trouble yourself over it one bit!

I've only heard about the butler, and...he is apparently no-longer with us...

::hesitates, uncertain:: No, I haven't...not since I've been here. Even if Dr. Seward were here, or...or Mr. Morris. Have you heard from Jonathan?

::smiles in spite of herself:: It's true, I probably do, and you are well aware of the fact, but that has always been my prerogative, hasn't it?

Is he? Oh. That is...rather unfortunate, is it not?

A fine pair we make! I have not heard from Jonathan in quite some time now. I am certain all will be set to rights. Perhaps he was hastily called away on business. No doubt he was accompanied by Mr. Morris and Dr. Seward, and they shall all write presently. ::presses her hand assuringly::
