Woo-Hoo It's the Fourth of July
Here it is, another "big" holiday. High expectations of joyous fun, picnics, fun at the beach, and big parties. Uh-huh...
As I write this it's raining like cats and dogs, and is forecast to be doing this through tomorrow. But that won't throw a damper on my big plans. Because we have none. As usual. So it turns into a long weekend of feeling shitty because you imagine how much fun everyone else is having. Perhaps this is just an indication of my general malaise towards life these days. Making plans requires effort, and I just don't seem up to the task.
