I have like eight freaking Who icons now. A+ for me.
So I will be in the Land of the Midwest this weekend, visiting Scone and stuffing my fat face with Sheridan's Frozen Custard. I REALLY fucking want to bring some back... but ice cream is probably part of the "OMG NO LIQUIDZZZZ" plane carry-on rule. I am 99% sure that this trip will primarily involve drinking and Doctor Who. Perhaps even recorded commentary on the absolute tragedy that is Timelord fashion, as emphasized by Erin's oldschool Who findings. No, Timelords, covering your clothes in glitter does not make you look cool. Neither do giantass things on your shoulders or vampire cowls.
Oh, Who. Sarah has promised to play me David Tennant narrating The Stone Rose while doing all of the various character voices. Who is excited?? Me!
On a not-Who but Avatar-related note, apparently Canada is showing another new episode on Friday, which will make it the third one after the mid-season Day of Black Sun special. Teh Eff? People are now theorizing that they will begin showing the season finale (which is in four eps) before Nick even begins airing the second half of season three around February. I'm kind of surprised that they seem to care ~this~ little about the status of the show... between the complete non-existance of Avatar reruns, lack of advertisement, and now airing eps weeks early in first England and now Canada? I'd heard that they were trying to keep Avatar under wraps for later and to really cash in on it when the time was right, but at this point it's just kind of a giant "Meh" fest.
Whar is mah Iroh! I want him to be chillaxing with Sokka's master - playing pai sho and slinging back tea - occasionally yelling "Fecking kids!" before they go shmooze with ladies.
Also, I decided to color a doodle the other night, which apparently has resulted in a new coloring style. It's nice, because it's kind of what I've been meaning to do for a bit now, gravitating away from flat coloring and making things a little less anime-ish.
I like it, but it's somewhat of a pain in the ass. Y/N?
