update update update!!
Perhaps someone can inform me of the amount of time that has been consumed since my last upgrading spree. It's gotta be like...one thick chunk of deserted air...I've congealed my personal webspace with liberal amounts of freelance, improvisational poetry. I've never fathomed recently to jot down whats brewing inside of my withered cranium...but that's all water under the bridge now...
speaking of which...
Recently, my city has been ransacked with bizarre amounts of rainage. We broke several records in the past month...this past week I witnessed history being conceived. Our main river was splitting at the seems with excess rain water. The total width of the thing was approx. 100 feet or better...which may seem unimpressive at first glance, but trust me...it exceeded it's water limitations by about 50 feet. It was so eye-consuming that I invited family to come out and witness this spectacle...what we did was drive under the bridge that lies above it and glanced down...fucking water like 3 feet below the bridge...in fact that very bridged was closed to the public like HOURS earlier...one girl was swept away about a week ago due to this thing...countless flood victims have suffered its wake...at the local terade school they are housing flood victims right now...some sources say they might be holed up there possibly until summer comes to a close.
I first heard about this wet fiasco during my annual Edmonton trip...I witnessed the news in the hot tub room...ad nauseum in fact...my buddy wanted to keep checking on the updates...I guess I got sick of seeing our mayor for the 5th time saying the exact same thing *shrugs*
As for the edmonton trip...meh it was pretty decent I guess...the dampening factor was a big thorn in the spine tho...fucking countless drops of rain...it never ceased to let up...only when our little trip came to close and we were back at home again. Kind of a relief tho...I like Calgary :) We skipped the rides this year because special passes we recieve yearly were unavailable this year. No big deal tho, the newer ride and another major one were non-functional so it's no skin off my ass. I got a CD from Eighteen Visions...not their newer one but I'm into it:) Everything else about Edmonton was pretty much standard at best.
Will be getting together with Brian on Sat....need beer money tho...
My sister got a new kitten...names Bear...it's naturally aspirated with this bio-chemical estrogen...it's like a mexican jumping bean. It has this endless energy whre it leaps into midair...it runs around the house so fast his legs cant keep up with what his brain is telling them.
Getting Emperor soon!! :) I uncovered a copy of "In the nightside eclipse" tonight...my next major wave of cash...a small portion of it will be donated to the Emperor fund. No doubt. It is such a groundbreaking album...I can't put it into words...
Stampede is next week!! 10 new freakin rides!! Bout time...
