Pittsburgh Comic Con Report
This year's comic con was awesome! We only went up for one day but it was so much fun. I only wish my friends could have come. Then it would be even better!
Tommy Castillo had his own lecture this year. He showed his crowd how he makes his bizarre art work. He made a Joker and a Batman of all kinds of items. He used: lipstick, ketchup, mustard, a twinkie, a hostess snack, a candy bar, carmel, salt, pepper, and cigarrette ashes. My sister and I had to get 80% of the items. It was cool and gross! He even licked his art! So gross!
Space Monkey was there too. he gave my sister and I a Private Ham plush. Private Ham was the first space monkey ever! We went out to eat at Chili's and Mike went mad! He told us he had gotten married but we didn't believe him until we met his wife. At Chili's, I got my first taste of a margarita! It was virgin (nonalcoholic) so it was just a raspberry slushie in a cool glass. It tasted soooo good! I loved it!
We went to Casino Night. That was also very fun.Again, Mike went beserk! He can be such a spaz! He lost all his money on his first game! I won at roulette, craps, and blackjack. I had so much fun!!!
I also met alot of people. I met a girl named Sarah Wilkinson. She is a model/artist. She was really nice and we talked for about an hour. She drew "My Little Ponies." I know they're preppy, but she made them goth! They were AWESOME!!!
I also met a man who made Voodoo Babies! He hand made them. My sister bought one for $10.00. His dolls may be alot of money, but they were sooooo cool! My sister had a boundary this year. She couldn't spend her money on anyone other than herself! Usually she spends her money on other people. My mom told her she had to buy something for herself and she actually did. She bought a Voodoo Baby, an oriental umbrella, and some oriental fans. Her Voodoo Baby was a Guadian Angel. We all thought it was cute.
