Cardiff, a bad leg, Whitby and the sims
So, I'm off to Cardiff on Saturday for two (yes TWO) Blue Gillespie gigs. Kind of. The second one - on the Sunday - is part of the live and unsigned bash and they'll only be playing a very short set. Glad I'm getting the train as I have a bloody sore leg from falling off my bike yesterday thanks to a stupid dog owner not controlling his dog properly. The weekend will offer me the first chance to use my new camcorder - it's not a particularly brilliant one (can't afford that) but it should get better video than my camera does and might offer the chance for catching some silly Gillespian shenanigans.
Whitby is next week, and I do have to drive for that so hoping that the leg is better by then. Was going to take a walking stick with me anyway as The Damned are playing and gerbil + the Damned = damaged knee (usually). I shall have to behave myself, which is a pain, but will at least avoid other pain if I do!
Also thinking about putting Sims 2 back on the computer and finishing the Talyn legacy - I have the neighbourhood all backed up - before putting the rest of the exp packs on and messing things up with that game. After all that time looking for 'medieval' type stuff, I'm now hankering for good old 'modern' goth so I'll need to swap out all the custom vehicles and things as that affects all neighbourhoods (not sure a stylish goth would want to go to work in a horse and cart). I'm going to have to fins all the files that tell my how to do that as damned if I can remember off the top of my head!
