stupid credit card
So yeah, I am over my credit limit (a piddly $800 even though I've had the card for 6 years now). Yet, when I try to pay online, I cannot pay more than the minimum amount due in a billing cycle (which this time around was only $236).
So basically, even though I am attempting to pay off my credit card, I cannot. Instead the credit card company will get to tack on penalty fees for my having gone over my limit, and the next billing cycle isn't until the end of March so they'll get to add on a bunch.
I keep telling myself to just cut up the card and go with a different company...a company that actually gives me rewards (unlike the one I'm with now). Maybe this time I'll actually do it!
