Good news:
A while ago I posted about my cat Tigerlily (we call her "Little Kit" for short). She was the one who had kidney failure. She is still alive and it's been a few weeks, so we are greatful for that. We give her fluid injections twice a day and give her a bunch of pills twice a day as well.
Bad news:
Unfortunatly, one of our other cats had to be put to sleep on Friday. He got a really bad case of cancer which spread to most of his internal organs within a weeks time. This was causing his lungs to keep filling up with fluid, which we had drained 3 times all within a 4-day timeperiod. It got to the point that he couldn't breath well on his own and had to be hooked up to an oxygen machine. (We called him "Zut" for short, which is french for Damn. His full name was french for God Damnit).
Other news:
Our third cat, who we call "Nu" for short because her full name is "Silly Noodle," seems to be fine and dandy. We are keeping our eye on her for any signs of trouble though, even though she is in good health as far as we can tell. I'm worried about her though, since the other two cats got sick so quickly.
