Jewelry is symbolic not only of money, but the finer things that you think you require out of life. Sometimes as people spend efforts reaching for what they seem to think is important, it becomes quite easy to lose track of what really counts. Perhaps the subconscious is attempting to remind you of the valuable lesson that sometimes it's not about getting what you want, it's about wanting what you've got.

As for losing wedding rings... that's funny. The ring is a symbol for marriage unending. It is not a marriage complete. You have a wonderful husband who surely knows that, and even if your dream were prophetic and you will soon lose your ring in a jewel heist, I think he'd understand.

Thusly, "nightmare" is a relative term based on your perception. I thought French class was a nightmare because that was an eternal 40 minutes where I was failing and not learning much of anything... however my friend Tyson became fluent in french and loved the class. So if you view the misadventures in your head as a terrible experience, as opposed to a self inspired fable, it was truly a nightmare that could fill someone with that sense of discomfort that is so easy to carry around with you for the rest of the day. However if you truly analyse the content and realise it as a reminder that you should truly cherish the things you have, you'll find that your "nightmare" just might be the best thing that happened to you today. Thank your friends for being there, and tell your loved ones that you love them... your nightmare may end up making their day better as well.

In another school of thought, You could've been abducted by aliens and anally probed all night. In the midst of the gruesome rape/examination/gyno debacle you may have awakened to see evidence of extra-terrestrial experimentation. In order to cover up their misdeeds, the visitors had replaced your memories with those of an adventurous jewel thief's which they had probed the evening before. Trust me, I would rather remember losing a ring as opposed to being anally raped.

So symbolic dream, or anal rape abduction conspiracy cover up... it's all over now sweetie.

There there, everything's gonna be all right.
Now go get your Hershey's
