Boosting the signal:

When britgeekgrrl had her yard sale yesterday, someone stole the Battlestar Galactica uniform that she had for sale. While there is a reasonable suspicion out there of who did it and how it was taken, that doesn't help very much.

The costume itself was made for someone short and stout, so it only has the ability to fit a particular body type. A picture of it is here right at the bottom (no hotlinking) and piping is missing at the cuffs. I already checked eBay and while a uniform was newly listed as of yesterday, it's definitely not the one Johanna made and it's in New Jersey.

I'm asking ya'll to please keep an eye out on costuming boards and other sources of costumes for sale, and to boost the signal as well.

I do believe there is a "no questions asked" policy on its safe return to Johanna, but that doesn't mean I don't want to slug the thief in the face for stealing something that had been very very special to Alex, and likely damn well knew it when he took the five-finger discount.

The BSG uniform was made for Johanna's late husband, and someone has decided to help themselves, without paying for it.
