(no subject)
hey guys im sure your buzzing to know what i've been up to over this past month!
well after the summer party i slept a long time and woke up to goto a lovely place called Telford. Me and Rob C got the train to this lovley utopia unpacked in some student halls and then went to the 'international' conference centre. We were exposed to fergal sharkey talking incomprihencable bollocks in his charming derry accent. then we watched some comedy which was a bit hit and miss. oh then there was cake..... i went to get cake and sat at a table with some lovly scottish ppl (turns out they were a band called el presidente). Cleave introduced me to a guy called jungle drummer then once i had enough free booze in me i went to watch some bands with the sheffield lot. i saw thee unstrung, el presidente, editors (twice in the week lol), and dogs. Once the festivites were over in the main centre i went back with Rob to the halls, rolled a joint and let him goto bed..... meanwhile i decided to go party with some of the guys from surry institute. made a dick of myself infront of the president of the NUS (i said it was my second favorate discount card after nectar points.... and then gave her some vodka). it goes a bit blury after that.
next day was NUS Trade fair.... got lots of free stuff and watched some shtitty pop acts. Spent most of my night with cleave rob and georgia from helter skelter *(fit)*.
got a lift home the next day with cleave.
other things that happened this month.....
a couple of woods parties
i spent a week fear and loathing in sheffield. twas really good, Ciaran and I work well in a house situation. we went to pubs, went on 2am missions to the marriot hotel, marmed... 'are you hotel motel, do you like tapas'... and planned the birthday festivities
our birthday (yes we do share it) was a small affair this year. Laura ciaran and i walked up the big hill to the rankin arms where we were joined by jock and leah. we had a pint there, then went to the standing stone on the moors to watch the sunset and smoke a J. This was followed by a couple of more country pubs and crazy local anicdotes. Jock and Leach went home. me cairan and laura watched a russian film, then ciaran and i went to get chips..... we returned 2 hours later after a huge shroom adventrure with no chips.
it was also leah's birthday whcih was a very nice affair.
and in other news i got a weeks internship at the accrington observer..... i have something bigger that could happen.... but im not going to jynx it yet.
