Musically Challenged Me!
So… yesterday I made a silly self-indulgent purchase. I bought myself a guitar… a real one not for the computer. I have always wanted to learn to play one and I have been feeling the itch for a new hobby besides internet porn. So, I should not have but I have a new noise maker! It was awesome setting it up and playing around trying to learn on my own, one day I need to buckle down and find some lessons from a real person. I feel a little old to start it but… well screw it I never want to grow up! Peter Pan Rock Star it is!
Also, I am glad to say even after horrible fights and stupidity Jen and I can make up (quickly) and not dwell on it. I was kinda hurt but well, after we talked everything out and laid our cards down, it was easier. The hard part lies in listening and not assuming what the other means (for both of us). But, I love her dearly and will not just let her go… sorry I am going to fight, kick, scream and brave hell to keep my Baby Bunny! Love was never easy, people who tell you that are fools. Anything worth having is worth bleeding and fighting for. (and part of the reason for the guitar was to learn to play it so I can like serenade her and do something silly-romantic but rocking cool)
Work has me stressed… its inventory time and everyone is all stressed and pissed off. It sucks but tomorrow it is over. Also I am worried cause it is review time and lately I felt like I slacked off or have made a few mistakes that will be held against me (and when asked I own my mistakes and try to change them… so I hope that helps).
I so need to work on my Good Omens (2) Con game…. But I am having trouble on what form and look the backgrounds for six of some of the big players in Gotham/DC should look like (when I did the villains it was easy, they were Arkham profiles). And I want to nail down my backgrounds before I write up the characters… silly me used to do it the other way but I found last couple times that I needed up with a stronger concepts of where the crunchy bits go. And that’s on June 12th at Endgame! Join us, its free and bring canned food for charity!
Oh! And I have a new car a Nissan Ultima 2007, it’s a sweet smooth ride… it put me in some good debt but it’s a car that will last and not just a beater. Um… had more to say but my brain is tired and unwinding after finishing five hours worth of paperwork (cause other people were late getting it to me and working nights its not very easy to run back and forth from computers and be focused on either).
And June 21st is Jen’ b-day! Be warned!
