drinking the koolaid

I did it. I drank the koolaid yesterday and became steve job's bitch. I bought the new imac. We went to the store downtown yesterday to buy it. Ghibby and I flipped when we didn't see them in the showroom. They had them in stock, but hadn't set them up yet. Guess they're not going to until tomorrow. Although we were disappointed, it wasn't that big of a deal since I had already decided what to get. We got a lot of comments from people in the store and on the street when we carried it back to the car. It's taking me a bit to get used to it as I haven't consistently used a mac in almost 10 years. It also doesn't help that my computer desk isn't set up for an imac so it's uncomfortable to type or just use it in general. The keyboard is super thin so that's taking a bit to get used to. But overall, am really loving it. :)

In other news, I got a hold on jury duty. Supposedly, I will get another summons in 3 months. I'm okay with that. I'm actually very interested in going, but they keep setting me up with shitty days.
