I *heart* The Modern
As some of you might have guessed, I'm rather fond of The Modern! There's a snippet of their forthcoming single 'Jane Falls Down' added to their myspace page. If you do just one thing for me this year PLEASE LISTEN TO IT! You'll all love it, I promise ;o) I downloaded it last night (yes, even though it's only 1min 12secs....) and I must have listened to it over 50 times already, eek!

Out of the 4 London dates they have I can only make 2 *not happy* as the October one clashes with Kings Have Long Arms and the 8th Dec one clashes with A Flock Of Seagulls :o( I'll def be at the Underworld one in Nov and hopefully I'll be able to make the 22nd Dec on - Imagine that, A Modern xmas party with mistletoe n everything :oP I'll prob be going home for xmas on the morning of the 23rd but nevermind...I'll have a whole week to catch up on sleep ;o) Lyle and I are seriously considering going to Northampton on Oct 1st to see them...
saddo fan fact - I can't wait until the day I can run (yes run) to the shop and back, clutching their CD (yes CD, none of this downloading nonsense) in my hand and listening to it 100 times in a row! The thought of it brings tears to my eyes :oD
