Weekend update
Another boring post about nothing.
I missed Bones this week. I didn't realize that the show was returning. I managed to catch it last night. It was okay. Not sure what it is, but this season just feels boring. Maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm bored of their antics and I do admit that I still miss Zack. Nobody can fill his shoes. No matter what the writers do or say. It's at the 5 year mark and I'm thinking of dropping the show from my viewing, and just waiting for the DVD. I picked up last season for only 20 bucks at my work. We're having this awesome DVD sale. Which never happens.
I sense I'm boring you all.

Tuesday
V - not even sure I liked the first episode. It was kind of bland, but it was also the first episode so I will keep watching. It's a bit of an inconvenient time slot.
Wednesday

Thursday (my favorite TV night by far)

Yay! That's about it.
I made five trillion screen caps from last week's episode, but I have no time to do anything with them, except make this icon. I know it's lame, like pretty much everything I do, but I like it.
I finished reading Self-Editing for Fiction Writers which hils recommended. All the rules they talked about seem to be rules authors break all the time, so I don't know what to think. I am paying more attention now to the writing style an author chooses to use. Let's hope some of what I read sticks. Right now it feels like I'm never going to finish any of the stories I'm working on beyond the first drafts. :( I realize that lack of confidence is one of the reasons. I have so much fun writing in that first draft then it comes time to pick it all apart and that's when I lose my confidence. Posting is still a terrifying prospect.
