So the characters have merit but then the acting is bad. I read the books. The books are amazing and funny. They travel a different route the show, similar but different feel and some of the characters don't exist.

Now while I do understand why you don't like it, I do have to tell you season 2 is where it gets good and not just a little creepy. Hang in there. It's only 24 episodes in total. Think of it like smallville first season. Sure there is some bad acting, a leading lady you want to strangle, and plot holes you can drive a truck through but it gets better.

Yes I agree with you on TB. I have now watched both seasons and while the second is definitely better, I still really don't love this show. I don't know what it is. I think partly, Bill and Sookie as OTP bore me to tears and while I like some of the other characters, I don't really love any of them. I think also there is something about the tone of the show that puts me off. It's so shrill, kinda like watching Jerry Springer or something. I don't know. Anyway, I doubt I'll watch the third season.

Yes the Dean/Cas scenes still make me grin like a fool. They are so completely adorable together. *smish*

Yes, Sam does need some comfort. And, it would be awesome if Castiel would do so, since Kripke does not seem to want to Dean to do the honors, at this point.

I watched the first season when it first aired and don't even rememeber much about it now. The second season was fairly decent but one story line was just drug out WAAAAY to long. :P But some of the minor characters I like, Lafayette and Hoyt, were given bigger parts. Eric was probably the only thing that kept me sticking with it. I hope season 3 is better.
