Reading and other things
I just finished a fun little mystery novel called First You Fall by Scott Sherman.
We just watched John Stewart and I have to say, I am so disgusted by the bull shit lies those people are spewing about Canadian health care. Every Single Last Word is total crap. I can walk into any clinic and be treated by a doctor on the spot without paying a dime. No hoops no shit no dying! Five fucking people die?! What the fuck is that? I'm in shock at the blatant lies and you know they are running scared if they are lying so badly. All anyone has to do is investigate for five minutes and they will know that all the lies are just that lies.
When my son was less than two years old, he got very sick. He started to throw up and couldn't keep a single thing down. I called a health help line and they recommended that we take him to a hospital right away, so we did and guess what. We walked in the door and five minutes later a doctor was taking care of him. He had a room, he had the care he needed to get better right away and I gave them my son's health card and I paid NOTHING. Not one dime and he was taken care of right away. And thank god because I was flipping out and I would have freaked if we couldn't have helped my son. I didn't have to worry about money at all. I just had to sit by his side and hold his tiny little terrified hand.
That story will stick with me forever, because that was the most afraid I've ever been for my son. It turned out he needed intravenous because he wasn't getting any fluids and was dehydrated badly. That is Canadian health care. I pay taxes and I'm glad because no matter who you are, you have a right to be taken care of without having to worry about how much it will cost.

I finished S2 of Supernatural and plan to start on S3 once we're back from our vacation. Which starts in a few days. I fear I will not finished my secret angel story. I will have to finish it on the road. I'm Sam and Mr. Goth is Dean since he's doing the driving and I'm into that emotional crap. :)
Okay stupid fan question. Because I feel like a idjit for not getting this.
Fan mixes explain please. I see them all over. How do they work and what are they for? If you like them, tell me what it is about them that you like and how you make them. Please no laughing. I'm tired and old.
