my weekend

It's the best night of the week: Supernatural night! I'm so excited about tonight's episode.

J2 *cough cough* If I was gay, this image would give me an instant happy. Now that I have that off my chest...

Anyway, unfortunately on my day off, I seem to be stumbling and fumbling with my story. I managed to get to 3,300 words, but it was like walking through quicksand to get there. I think it's because I've never written John Constantine, and I'm finding the task rather daunting. I want to get him right. I also seem incapable of typing today without making a million errors. Thank goodness for spell check and quick correct. I haven't had nearly enough sleep this week, and my head feel like it's filled with cotton. I feel completely inadequate to the task of writing this story. I'm nowhere near ready to give up and am more determined than ever to get this story in a first draft that I don't completely hate. I will eventually need the help of somebody with John's Brit speak since I want him to sound as accurate as possible. I may ask here once that first draft is finally completed for some assistants on that particular issue.

I have to admit that I watched the new SV preview and I may just have to see this week's episode. It looks intriguing. Should I just stay away? I am mostly in the dark as to where the show has gone. All I know is that Lana is finally out of there. Though I personally have my doubts that her exit is permanent. She is after all a bad penny as far as I am concerned and a bad luck one at that. Wow I can't believe I actually talked about the show. I admit that I still long for it. Every once in a while, I look at images (because Tom is so damned pretty) and dream I still watch.

I should probably try to write some more. At least get past the scene I'm working on. It feels so bland at this point. mush mush muster through and all that.

*deep breaths*
