It does appear that SPN is finally back on track. I am excited for this season.

It really does. I can not wait. Maybe this season there was no network interference.

It totally rocked my socks off. Thought I wasn't wearing any in the first place. (knocked my slippers off) I wear fuzzy black slippers at night.

For a second I thought Dean had been brought out of hell by Constantine.
I totally thought that too for a minute! I wonder if it was deliberate? *beams* There's a x-over begging to be written. :)

I hope so! That would be so cool if the writers like John because they would fit so perfectly together. I have been dying to write a x-over with the boys and John!

I am in total agreement! The ep was awesome. I was not expecting the whole archangel plotline. Can't wait to see Sam's reaction to him.

He could totally be an archangel. They are the powerful ones I believe. I can't wait until Sam and Dean find out each other's secrets.

I'd recommend you start with the issues written by Jamie Delano. He was probably one of the best writers. issues 1 - 40
I'd also recommend the whole Brian Azzarello run. It was beyond awesome as a whole story. issues 146 - 174

You can download the first issue free here.
The graphic novel All his Engines was beyond awesome. I loved it.
Mike Carey's run was awesome.
lots of sneak peeks here.

Supernatural really reminds me of the tone and landscape of Hellblazer, and John Constantine is the best anti-hero ever written IMHO.
also adding that I'm not sure about all libraries but my library system carries a lot of graphic novels now.
