bits and bobs

I want to keep track of the movies I'm watching this year. Most will be on DVD since I don't go to the theatre much these days. And our library changed their movie lending policy. Plus my librarian is so cool. When I went last week, she let me choose from the DVDs behind the counter.

1. Shrek the third - Liked
2. Ratatouille - didn't like. Rats in the kitchen!
3. Pirates of the Caribbean World's End - like some parts but overall it was way too long and a bit boring in places.
4. 300 - loved the abs and the whole look of the movie. So pretty.

I watched Torchwood late last night. I liked the episode a lot especially when Ianto grabbed Jack while they were talking and kissed him really hard. That was so sexy and super hot explosive.

I've borrowed some of the Marvel Civil War graphic novels and am very much enjoying the story. The idea of forcing the heroes to tell their secret identities to the world seems foolish. It could put their families in danger. Worth reading if you can. I'm finding I really like team books these days. I'm not sure why that is, but I prefer to read heroes in a team working together. Must be all that manly muscle sweating side-by-side. I actually caught myself at one point wondering how Spiderman would feel about Frank Castle finding him attractive. Now that is a freaky pairing!

A Smallville story is forming in my head. Let's hope I can put it to paper or in this case screen. Maybe I should just watch the show for inspiration. Even if the boys are so far apart, I can always think of something to bring them together.

My back is aching badly today. I flinched yesterday when I almost drop my heavy pot on my foot. Lucky for me, I missed the foot, but my back suffered for it.

I also had a dream last night. In it Tom Welling was dressed as Clark was in Labyrinth. I asked him if he could help us escape. He agreed even though he knew it could mean all our deaths. Overly dramatic much?
