Sunday downtime book recommendation

Nov 18, 2007 09:16

I have my coffee, and my net. My son is watching Rocket Robin hood, a cartoon I watched as a kid.

Last week, tv was good to me. I thoroughly enjoyed all the shows I watched. I thought I watched a lot of show, but sister seems to watch more than I. We went over to visit on Wednesday night and she watched three hours of tv. I don't usually watch tv on Wednesday. Though I liked seeing Criminal Minds. I like the new guy. He's no Mandy, but he's okay. The rest of the cast is strong enough to survive the exit of the Mandy. Who am I kidding. The show just is not the same without him, but it is still good. The ending of the episode totally blew us away. My sister has given up on Smallville. She grew to hate Lana. Funny how everybody I know who used to watched stopped watching for that very reason.

This week there are still some new shows.

Monday

Heroes @ 9 pm

Tuesday

Bones @ 8 pm
Reaper @ 9 pm (I think I might be the only person I know watching this)
Blood Ties @ 10 pm

Friday

Torchwood @ 8 pm
Moonlight @ 9 pm

December is going to be a quiet month. The perfect time to watch TV on DVD. I still have Roswell to watch, and I want to finish Lois and Clark. There's Angel and I never finished Queer as Folk. I have to watch that when everybody is away. And I'm thinking of watching S1 of SV.

I want to recommend a fantastic photoshop book. It's one of the best how-to books I've ever used. I'm finding it very challenging. I really haven't been working on it as diligently as I know I should.

It is worth every penny. If you're interested in a book that can teach you every way to make selections, this is the book to use. I'm on the selecting hair chapter and the results are amazing. All the images are provided on the web site for download.
