I love that Damon pines for Alaric. He took every opportunity to remind us that he is gone and that he still longs for Alaric in his life.
I only wish that you could have had his ghost hovering over Damon the whole time. I imaged that he was right there pining along with Damon, wishing they could touch and be together.
Also, please do NOT let Damon find a new drinking buddy.
