Now I know

I love that I can go on line and download famous physists papers. It's so awesome!

I did it myself. We took the desktop with the dead hard drive to a shop and when I showed it to the guy and showed him that I had the 3 recovery discs, he told me how to removed and install the hard drive myself and how to put the disc in to recovery my system. I did it last night and now we have a new 1 terabyte drive. Still the same computer but we have twice as much hard drive now. I am crossing my fingers and hoping that it is indeed saved and that I won't have to go through this again, but at least I know that I can do it.

I have now installed just about every piece of hardward in a desktop that can be installed. Maybe some day I will make my own computer from scratch. LOL Not that confident.

I've done no writing, almost no reading and barely anything else.

Work was kind of heck due to a fire in our wiring room where all the phone lines are. No phones, no debit transactions, and water all over the books on tape. Not a great combo.

And tonight, my sister and her family will be coming for dinner.

Any recommendations for free photo editing software?

I started S6 of Macgyver and love it so far. He cut his hair and he's now in 1990 with all the fashion trappings of that time period. It's so much fun. Plus Mr. Anderson was rather yummy.
