I gave in
I picked up S1 of Vampire Diaries on DVD because I found it for a bit less. We have not had a great weekend so far. Something went totally kablooie in Goth_clark land and now my sister is going to hate me for at least a few weeks. Needless to say that things are not all roses.
But hey here's some Daniel and Jack for those who like that sort of thing.
We went all this way to another town (where there are crickets chirping right now as I type this) to help Mr. grandgoth launch his boat, Mr. Goth made a horrible mistake and forgot he had plans only he thought those plans were for tomorrow night and they were not they were for tonight so he stood someone up. He plans to make it up to them, but the damage has been done. I feel horrible because I even thought to check with them if we had the right day but then got caught up in my own thing and forgot to make that call. And the boat launch didn't happen so all was for naught.
So we came up are in a motel (money spent that we really couldn't afford to but we thought what the hey, it could be fun) then there were other complications that we didn't foresee. It's a big mess.
But my second draft is done. Story off to first beta and hopefully it's not too horrible. I came up with a title. Somewhat. It's not perfect but it will do for now. I wonder if I am allowed to say. Though my artist hasn't gotten back to me to let me know what she thought of the story.
