I am not a fan of the idea of Castiel being human because I LOVE him as an angel. I don't mind if he's an angel with his battery drained (and how tickled was I when he said that since I just posted a story where Dean says the exact same thing)
But I don't think he is exactly human. He even said he had just enough angel in him and how else would he know that Michael took Adam as a vessel. He knew and that gives me hope that he will recharge his powers in the future.
Not to mention that he woke from a brain dead coma.
