Y'know, I was told when I first showed up here that floods happen when the Admiral steers too close to another world, we take on an aspect of it, blah blah etc. Isn't that kind of...weird, in context? I mean, what world would be full of people who keel over if they get more than five feet away from some arbitrary soulmate? Where's the evolutionary advantage there?
I'm more convinced than ever that the Admiral's just messing with us. See also the fact that floods are happening almost exclusively over the weekend these days. For 'random' events the timing's gotten pretty methodical.
