Some members liked the idea of having a kink meme/comment fic meme on got_exchange, especially since the other ASOIAF/GoT kink memes are fairly dead at the moment. (It's only posted on the mod account journal because I don't want anonymous comments on the exchange comm.)

That said...
Winter has come and gone from the Riverlands by the time Stannis's victorious host returned from the North. Green spring grass covered the wounds in the softly rolling plains surrounding the Trident that ran as blue as the colours of House Tully. It was here, Stannis reflected, that he and Lord Stark had parlayed first, in anger and distrust.
"Stannis?"
Robb Stark was walking towards him, and Stannis felt a smile pull at his lips, irresistably. How much things have changed since they last stood here.
"I think it was here," Robb mused, looking down to the river.
Stannis nodded tersely, and tightened his fingers around the younger man's. He could never tell when either of them reached out, just that whenever he felt good, right, he would find Robb Stark's hand in his own.
"I've found this in Riverrun," Robb continued, forcing Stannis to turn around and look at him, windblown auburn curls framing a pale face with eyes as warm and blue as a summer stream. He was holding the crown of the King in the North, a circle of iron topped by serrated, wicked-looking bronze bars. "Fancy that, it was still there."
The long years of winter and war that turned the boy into a man also taught him to read every nuance of Stannis's tense silences.
"You look like you expect me to put it on again," Robb said, gently.
"Do you want to?"
For a moment, Stannis's heart skipped a beat as Robb's hand released his own. But it was only so he could touch Stannis's face, smoothing his frown away with a caress.
"Nah," said Robb. "Damn ugly thing. The headaches it gave me.... and that's only counting the literal ones. No, it's... it's a gift." He smiled. "Melt it onto the Iron Throne... just think, we almost ended up enemies."
"Almost." Stannis echoed, something in his chest clenching painfully, and he fought the urge to look around, to see if this look of affection, kindness, love was directed at someone else. But they were alone, and here, in light and warmth of the new spring, he could allow himself to take into his arms the man who had fought beside him and grown as dear to him as a son - and more.
And when they kissed, the summer that had returned to Westeros also, for the first time, reached Stannis's frozen, brittle heart.

Robb sighed as he leaned into the touch of the man he'd come to love. Stannis had seemed so cold, so distant when they'd first met. The only thing that made their working relationship successful was an equal drive to wrest the Iron Throne from the Lannisters-- though both for very different reasons.
Despite all their differences, though, they had come this far. The moment as perfect, the field silent except for their hushed breathing and the wind.
Just before their lips brushed Robb was jarred from his tranquil state by a horrible hacking sound. Across the field Grey Wind's nose was covered with pollen, and the wolf was running in mad circles, scraping at his muzzle with his paw. It almost looked like he was skipping...

"How can you say this about your brother?" Stannis growled, outraged. "He is dutiful and honourable, and he has given up everything to defend the realms of men!"
Robb sneered disdainfully, leaning back casually against the wall. Stannis swallowed, fighting to hold on to his rage as those mesmerizing sapphire eyes pierced his very soul, as if they could see the filthy longings he was harbouring in his heart.
"Be that as it may..." Robb spoke, smirking indolently. "This is not about dedication to duty - Your Grace." He almost sounded mocking, outrageously so, and his voice, merely pleasant a year ago, has truly deepened into a man's timbre. It sent shameful shivers down Stannis's spine. "You love Jon because he is just like you, stubborn to a fault, grim, serious... but what you want, what you really want, my King..." He stepped towards Stannis, his clear gaze even more hypnotic from up close. "For all your talk how you are the true King, what you really want - is to be conquered, claimed and taken, so you have an excuse to let go of your control and pride, just once." He licked his lips, as Stannis fought for breath. "Well, probably not just once."

Half-open shirts are already show canon... oh HBO <3
It's a POSTMODERN harlequin romance novel ok so our heroine is less good-looking to appeal to the (older gay male) target audience, complete with receding hairline. And beautiful noble young man who is helplessly in love with the heroine, but acts aloof and shit, and is all over Stannis when Jon enters the picture and there is drama cos he HAS to marry Jeyne (like Ashley and Melanie OMGGGGG)....

Of course they switch. But Robb is about as much of a top as Jon, at least with Stannis. And damn, I love trolling my own posts.

While deconstructing gender roles sounds fun, I am way more interested in seeing top!Robb just because it is one more thing for me to laugh at. (In this context anyway. I mean as a Robb/Jon fan Robb is obviously the top DUH, but this is a diff. relationship).
And the whole point of these is to laugh our asses off? Anyway, here is my plot summary for "Gone With the Winter"
I think Stannis, after rescuing Robb from the twins, (fuck going to the Wall, he's stoping the Red Wedding OH MY GOD THE RED WEDDING WAS MADE FOR THIS. excet now it is Robb's wedding, not Edmure's) and angsting some about, you know his duties nd shit, Robb aggressively breaks through his emotional barrier and-
Oh fuck I've already found a plot problem. How does Stannis meet Jon Snow if not at the Wall? Damn. DAMNNNNNNNNNNN. Ok ok as I was saying before.
Robb aggressively ATTEMPTS to break through his emotional barrier WHILE HEALING WHILE THEY ARE RIDING HARD FOR THE WALL!! With Stannis' army. Which is a sneaky army, that's how it gets by all the other armies.
Uhmmm.... So Stannis thinks Robb is SUCH a dick, like omg, and at the Wall he meets ~Jon Snow~ (imagine the tildes are sparkles) and he is amazed at how different Robb's brother is from him, and he LOVES him because they are so alike. But Stannis is bound by duty and SO IS ~JON SNOW~ (again, sparkles) and they kind of circle around each other in that dumb way people do in romances. They maybe share like, one lame as fuck chaste kiss or something. Robb, however, is, as we saw in the earlier excerpt by... one of you... forget who wrote it and too lazy to scroll up.... super aggressive in his pursual of Stannis, who eventually grows to find Robb very attractive despite his dickery, and eventually they get together. Stannis is like totally down to get it on with Robb, he really does like losing cntrol, but he doesn't love him, because for a long long time he holds on to this overwhelming love of ~Jon Snow~.
Eventually, just as the Others come/the Wall falls/Dolorous Edd dies, something life-altering and heartbreaking, Stannis realizes that despite their one lame as fuck chaste kiss, ~Jon Snow~ does not love him, because he is in love with his Night's Watch vows. And Stannis has a sudden moment where he's like, "WTF, have I really pined after you? You pussy bitch, you're worse about duty than I am!"
And he goes off to find Robb.... but Robb is tired of waiting for a man who is in love with his brother. And when Stannis is like, "BUT I LOVE YOU" Robb is all "I don't give a damn"
YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
