Things have been..
a bit nuts around here. At least at the school they have been anyway, especially last wednesday. First our speech teacher almost didn't show up, which most of the students didn't really care and I probably wouldn't have either if we hadn't had a speech due that day. He did show up at the last minute however so all was well.
Then in my next class we all had two projects due that day and pretty much everyone didn't have them done. So while we were all rushing around to finish them, some tech guy came in and said we had to shut down our computers so they could do some stuff to the server, right in the middle of class. He said it would only take 5 minutes but it took about 20. So a lot of us ended up staying past 6 to get our projects done and in on time.
Oh yeah, I forgot. We had a project due the next day for page layout and the print shop couldn't get things printed for everyone in time because they were told that the portfolio students take priority and that they couldn't print anything else out until all of their stuff was printed. Sure, that wouldn't have been so bad except for the fact that EACH portfolio student had 20 - 40 things they needed printed out. So I went over to my friend Jessicas and printed my stuff out there, cuz our printers on the fritz and Gohan hasn't had time to come over and fix it yet. Fortunately for the rest of the class the teacher extended the due date to Tuesday (a couple days ago) because of the whole fiasco. I got mine in on time though.
I did my speech final on Monday, which was just a speech (of course), and I got a 'C' in the class. Well it was a 77 anyway. Thats because he never graded something that I handed in so I missing 10 points for that. That could bump be up to a 'B'! So I put it in his mailbox today at school, I hope he grades it. He said, "we'll see what we can do". What's with this 'we' business? He's the only one who teaches the class :P
I had my media productions final today, I only missed 1 question. Then I found out I had an 87 in the class so I retook a quiz and now I have a 89. I wish I hadn't missed that one question on the final, then I'd have an 'A' instead of a 'B'. Why is it always one point? Just one point! That drives me nuts.
Oh yeah, this guy in school asked me if I was married today, I said yes of course, cuz well.. I am lol. Besides, just cuz he was flirting with me, why would I try and hide it? The other girls thought I was nuts cuz apparently he's one of the most popular guys there. I already have the love of my life however, so I am quite happy :)
You would think with finals this week and everything that I would lay off the training but nope. For some reason it makes me feel more focused and yet relaxed at the same time. I guess its a good stress reliever lol. Besides, theres no point in slacking off on the training now, the tournament will be here soon and I want to get further this time than I have before.
Well InDesign is almost done downloading so I should get going. I really need to do this extra credit work for Page Layout. It's only for if your in between letter grades but every little bit helps. I have a feeling I'm going to be needing it :P God, is it hot in here or is it just me? Phew. I feel like I'm burning up.
