We have a new..
pet now. Goten and I went to the pet store yesterday. We were just going to play with the animals but we ended up getting one too! I finally got a betta (siamese fighting fish), I've really been wanting one for a long time and I'm sure Goten would have gotten me one if I had told him about it hehe. We got a little container for it but I decided I wanted a bigger one, especially after notincing that he's really feisty and swims around a lot. He's a speedy little devil too. I also wanted the poor thing to have more room to swim around in.
So today we went back into town again bought a really big glass vase. We also got some polished red and amber rocks to put in it along with some small sea shells. I'm going to put some kind of water plant in it as well, the guy at the pet store said that the fish like the extra oxygen it brings to the water and the plant helps keep it clean too. Needless to say, the betta is much happier now that he has lots of room to swim around in.
One problem remains. He doesn't have a name. I've never named a fish before but I'd really like to give him a name. He's got full, long red fins and a red, blue body with a purple tint to it. Anyone got any ideas?
Oh and don't worry about the cats, they haven't even noticed him yet. I guess they're too absorbed in their own activities to notice or even care.
Well, break time is over. It looks like it's going to rain soon so Goten and I had better get training. We could always train out in the storm as well, I mean.. whats a little lightning shock right? hehe.
