Presents and stuff.

Yes, tomorrow will I not only teach all of you to make sushi, but I'll also be giving all of you a present! For in order to make sushi, you must have a sushi rolling mat! Otherwise, making your own sushi at home could be difficult. Oh, sure, you could use a placemat or something, but according to at least two of my professors, you must roll sushi using a bamboo rolling mat. What happens if you don't? The sushi police come along and pelt you with rice and seaweed, then throw you into sushi jail.

You really don't want that! And neither do I, so I'm going to make sure you all have a proper sushi rolling mat. See? I'm saving you from a fate worse than... worse than... worse than... uh, not having a professional sushi rolling mat!

Fortunately, the school sells them at cost, and when I explained to professor Mulden that I needed them for the class I cook, she let me buy all the ones I needed. You know, it's nice having a professor that really thinks I'm doing a service with this class. Not only does she give me credit doing this, but she helps me any way she can, by letting me borrow school equipment or whatever I need. She's the best. And I want to thank everyone in my class for being nice to her and talking to her when class is over. I know it must get a little nerve wracking, being asked all these questions about what you learned, how good a teacher you think I am, all of that, but none of you have ever complained. I just want to make sure you all know it means a lot to me that you're willing to allow this.

You know, the other day, my dad was so insistant I was tired, even though I only told him that so he wouldn't wonder why I wasn't training, that I actually felt tired. So I eneded up taking a nap before Angel and I went out to the movies. We saw the latest Jackie Chan movie. It's really funny. Even if you haven't seen the first one, go see it. His movies are always a lot of fun to watch.

Well, I have to get started on dinner. Stir fry tonight. I've got to keep my wok seasoned now, don't I?
