Eh, an update
So it's been a while. A whole bunch of new things going on lately... Probably cant update everything though. I guess right now the number one thing is i'm fucking sick as hell... I never get sick!! Especially for four freaking days now... It's really kick my ass... What sucks worse is I cant relax and try to sweat the cold off because even though it's Wednesday I still have like 17 days of straight 12 hour shifts... No time off at this whole period... It wouldnt be so bad if I werent sick right now... You ever work 12 hour days for 3 weeks straight with a cold?
My home front is sucking. I'm feeling less and less connected with almost all my really old friends. In fact I've already stopped talking to my one good friend(Kim) lately. I guess it isn't too surprising... Most of everything else is going that way too. I've tried, but I'm just so tired of being the only one to try. The sad part is I'm sure no one cares enough to even notice. You cant blame them I guess, they are around people all the time and not me. It's easy to forget when your surrounded by family and friends. Thats life I guess...
On a brighter side I've really been thinking alot about when I get out of the military. I'm like 65% sure I'm going to go work with my old co-worker(Charlie) in Tampa, Fl. It's a Department of Defense contracting job that starts at atleast 60k a year. Not to bad of money, but if I was worried about the money I'd go overseas to Afghanistan as a contractor(which i still might do). Whats really appealing is the hours. They work one full week of 80 hours, then the following week they have off. So thats pretty awesome because I can go on vocations and travel without taking leave. I'm not 100% sure yet, but unless I find something better else where I'll probably go there.
