...is French for "the feeling you get when you're done talking to someone and you're finally coming up with good things to say but it's too late to say them." Yeah. That kinda sums up my post-job interview feelings. I'm still a little residually nervous, but going for a walk to check out nearby apartments for rent helped me calm down a little. ( Read more... )

I totally agree (did I mention I get tact points for not mentioning this during the interview?) and I had exactly the same thought ("Trust a man to think that's a good idea.") I am the queen of tact. I know my mom's midwife actually explicitly instructed her to drink beer when she was in labor with me, and that beer's also recommended for breastfeeding women (although really, if you can come up with any piece of advice about childrearing, there's probably been a book written about it, and another book written to argue against it, so whatever).

Way to be one of only four people to get an interview, Tracy! That's pretty awesome in and of itself, so don't forget to feel all psyched up about that, yeah?

I'm definitely psyched about being one of four people to get an interview. Also, as Peter pointed out, they're a really small company, so they basically had to shut down the company for half an hour to interview little ol' me, and that's pretty flattering too. Yay me, I guess.... I just wish I'd come out of the interview feeling more confident that I'd done well and I wanted to work there.
