Its about time for another deli rant. We have 3 registers. We use all three during the day and only 2 at nite. The First register is for call in orders or box lunch purchases. There is an obvious sign about it that says "Pick up PHONE OR FAX orders here". People just walk up and stand there even if there isnt someone to help them, when its obvious that there are just 2 registers working at the time. They'll stand there, and wait and get pissed off when I say "I can help you down here!*smile*" and they say "well, I Have a call in order!!" I have to stop and think to myself 'be nice'. And I tell them, "that register is closed, so I cant ring you up down there anyway" Get over it, if there isnt anyone helping people at that register... dont go there?!?. Ugh. Thats all I feel like ranting about at the moment. More to come...
