[OOC: I'm jumping ahead to their first morning in Monaco, when Hammer wakes up himself again. If you want to play out stuff before that too, though, I can make another post for it - probably at SWS because I only like to do so many logs at a time. ^_^]
It was the beginning of a perfect little - dare it be said - romantic minivacation.
They had arrived in the morning, still a little jetlagged, but Justine for her part had shaken that off pretty quickly with a mixture of sunshine, ocean breeze and excitement. The first couple hours had been doled away with her giving Gabriella a tour of some of her favorite places; mostly great views, fancy architecture and gathering places of the rich and fabulous. Monaco wasn't really all that big, after all.
"If you want," she'd said, offhandedly, "tomorrow we can go to the aquarium. If we find time, of course."
And she'd punctuated that statement with a grin and a meaningful, gentle rub of Gabriella's shoulder.
They had lunch together at a private table, reserved for them at one of Hammer's favorite places to go when she was residence. (In fact, it happened to be at the very same hotel restaurant where Justin had gotten both the brushoff from Tony Stark and that Vanity Fair reporter in one sitting. You would think after a certain point it would've tainted the association. But in some ways, some stubborn people never got tired of beating their heads into a wall.)
After that, a walk along the beach...and then a cruise in Justine's private yacht.
She actually had a captain on payroll that she normally used when she entertained, but she still knew how to sail the thing herself. Otherwise it would've just been embarassing. Besides she wanted this to be a really private cruise, completely alone with Gabriella.
It was definitely worth it, for the ambience. Gabriella got over any seasickness she might've had with little difficulty - or if it was a problem, Justine certainly didn't notice. They had drinks, watched the sunset, and then retired to the cabin where, eventually, they fell asleep naked in each other's arms, in blissful exhaustion.
Next morning found them both there, exactly in the same spot. Only now something was very, very different.
The still-slumbering figure, lazy smile in place, pressed up against Gabriella's back certainly wasn't the same that had been there last night. A broader, flatter chest nestled firmly against her skin. A set of longer, differently shaped arms wrapped around her, holding her tight. A stronger, already stubbled chin nuzzled sleepily against the side of her face. And what was starting to poke into her from behind...well that certainly hadn't been there the evening before.
