Monday in London was spent relaxing for most of the guys staying at the hotel that Skip's friend had suggested to them...that or at the bar that was right next door

Bill was used to setups similiar to this. No need for fancy catering or decor. Beer and dancing was all that was needed back home for a party. Live band was a nice bonus.
The people and some of the decorations themselves were interesting though. And the atmosphere was exciting. He grinned and nodded, "Well Luz, seems like it's gonna be a good time to me."
To Bill's right a shorter figure bumps into him. Looking up the blue-eyed, brown-haired Army Nurse blushes furiously. "Oh! I'm so sorry! How clumsy of me!"
She looks up at the paratrooper offering him a small smile that is very apologetic.
Luz, however, is about to say something when he notices the woman and chuckles. He can't help but give Nate a nudge to the ribs along with a very sly smile. "See what did I tell ya? It's the uniforms and jumpwings."
Nathan nodded, and grinned back at Luz, "Yeah, I remember." Been a long time since he's been to any USO or officer's club. And it wasn't even like this.
The young nurse, however, just keeps smileing up at Bill and actually giggles a little. "Oh yes! Glenn Miller is just brilliant as well as The Andrews Sisters!"
George can't help but snark a laugh, ducking his head as he moves on to an empty table a few steps away, claiming it in the name of Easy Company. "Come on, Nate. Show doesn't start for another twenty minutes."
"Ah, where are my manors?" the young woman says to Bill, offering him a slender hand. "My name is Gillian. Nurse with the 116th Field Hospital."
"It's a deal." Glanceing over to where the nurse was all but openly flirting with the 'paratrooper' he snorts a laugh before ploping down into a seat. Some of the other guys have also picked up watching with interest and it's Perconte who then adds. "I'll raise you five on that one, Petrelli."
George snarks a little laugh, opening his mouth to speak again, before something catches his eyes moving a few tables over and his face pales slightly. "Gwen?"
George is up from the table in an instant, forgetting the bet as he goes off in search of whoever he thought he saw. Perconte watches his friend go with slight interest (and a raised eyebrow) before he turns back to watching Bill and the nurse.
"Hey, hey!" Hoobler says as he comes up with an armful of cold beer bottles, passing one on to Nathan then one to Frank before also catching sight of Bill. "Damn just joined and already getting the dames."
Gillian just offers Bill a very small, coy smile. "Oh- little town in Ohio. Ever hear of a place called Conneaut?"
He shakes his head, "Nah, sorry can't say that I have. But I'm from a small town too. Wheelsy, South Carolina? No one who ain't from there has ever heard of it."
Gillian giggles slightly, beaming a very lovely little smile up at Bill as they talk. "No..but I do love your accent. Men from the South are much more charming than some of the men I know from home."
From where Hoobler and Perconte stand they both are trying not to laugh. It's a funny scene watching the two interact. Perconte, with tears in his eyes, looks back up at Nathan. "I'll add another ten onto that."
George, meanwhile, is nearly caught up to the figure he saw. "Gwen! Hey! Gw-" when she turned around the look of surprise was apparent on her face. "George Luz? Is that you?"
Gillian reaches out, slideing her coated arm around Bill's right arm still smileing up at him. "That's good to hear, Sergeant Pardy."
Perconte seems to be waiting with baited breath to see what the new guy is going to do. "Ah..look'a that! It's not fair I tell ya. He blows this and I'm goin in."
"She's to tall for you, Frank," Hoobler muses, offering a wide toothy grin to his friend. "Maybe more of Nathan's taste here." Which results in a very pointed glare from the shorter paratrooper.
George beams a smile at the uniformed woman infront of him, "Been a long time, Gwen. How have you been doing?"
The auburn haired correspondent infront of Luz smiles a very warm smile up at him. "Good..survived Normandy and the like. I see you made it back in one piece."

Accepting her hand he smiles more. "I'm Bill. Bill Pardy uh...with Easy Company."

He then watched Bill and the nurse for a moment.
"Five bucks says he'll blow it somehow," he laughed to Luz. It's all in jest and good fun! Really.
