[Dr. Jo Harvelle doesn't usually walk home after her late shifts, but after her long day - long weekend, really - she needed some fresh air and time to think. Secrets were revealed in the worst possible way, relationships torn apart at the seams, and on top of everything, Jo couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched. Maybe it was crazy ( Read more... )

[Some time after being told off by Castiel, let down by Anna, and ignored by Dean, Sam gave it to his old habits and called up one of his old contacts - Flo. They planned the attack together, and he subsequently told the evil twin to go after the Chief of Medicine while he tended to the battered blonde.

Say hello to Lucifer, Jo. He's walking up with a bucket and a chair, both of which he places opposite her. He takes a seat and reaches into the bucket for a soaked rag.]

I'm sorry about all this, but it was necessary. All part of the big plan, y'know?

[Jo's a little taken aback by the man pulling up a chair, seeing as she's not sure who he is, but he apparently seems to know her and knew she'd be down here. She sat up and pressed back as much as she could, but the stone wall behind her kept her from going too far. This was crazy!]

What plan? Who are you?

[He tilts his head a little at the question, the rag dripping water back into the bucket.]

She hit you that hard, huh? That girl, I swear. [A tut and shake of his head, before flinging the last of the water off the rag and starting to clean away the dried blood on her face.] Allow me to introduce myself then. My name is Lucifer, and I'll be your host for today.

Concussion, most likely. Dizziness indicates head trauma, but I don't-- Why am I talking like this? [Snerf. Medical jargon with a headache causes... more headacheness. She's too tired to try and pull away once he starts wiping her face off, although the dull pain in her jaw flared up a little, making her flinch.]

Lucifer? Seriously?

The one and only. [He'll continue his wiping despite her flinching, and though there is very dull light in the room, if she looks closely, she might notice small dot-like markings on his arm. They're fresh, too, which means he is in a whole nother world right now.] But don't you worry, sweethear. I'll take good care of you.

Don't need you to take care of me. [Almost convincing, except she's still not moving away and she's not sure she could stand right now even if she wanted to, let alone walk away. After a moment she's squinting a little, trying to think over the throb in her head.]

I feel like I already know you, though. But that's... Do you know my name?

Hmh. 'course you don't.

[He continues to talk with a certain level of confidence as he pulls the rag away and washes off the blood in the bucket, then wrings it out to finish cleaning away the rest of it]

That, I do. But see, just in case you do somehow manage to get out of here, I can't have you going after your sister. She's on a very important mission right now. Sorry to say.

You do realize how crazy this all sounds right now, don't you? My sister teaming up with a guy named Lucifer, and going on a secret mission? [Yes, being a smartass when she can't really even see straight still. Brilliant idea, doctor.]

... And you can't just keep me here forever.

Crazy is relative. We're all a little crazy, deep down inside. [He finishes wiping away the last of the blood and drops the rag into the bucket, then gives her a smile.] Some just a little more than others.

And while us crazies carry out our mission, you get to sit back and relax. I promise, once it's over you can go free.

I'd be able to relax a little more if I could remember my name. And I'm pretty sure only crazy people say that everyone's a little crazy. A coping method maybe? [Hey, her memory's gone, but her snark is starting to come back.

She blew a piece of hair out of her face as she tried looking around, the dim light in the room doing nothing to help jog her memory.]

Listen, if you let me go, I promise to just... find my license, figure out my address, and run all the way home. I won't mess up your plans. How's that?

I might be crazy, but I'm not stupid. Once you figure out who you are, you're gonna do everything you can to stop us. And we can't have that happening. So instead, [He stands, turns the chair around and straddles it, resting his arms on the back of it], we're just going to sit here and enjoy each other's company.
