Feedback post & poll
That's it, the exchange is over, everything has been posted. A masterlist has been compiled here. I've also compiled a list of all unfilled prompts - do you want me to post that as well?
I hope that everyone was happy about their gift. A big thank you to everyone who has participated by drawing, writing, beta reading, and commenting. An even bigger thank you goes to the pinch hitters who covered at a very short notice for the people who dropped out - you are amazing and I can't thank you enough for your effort.
My general impression was that the exchange went really smoothly and I haven't seen any complaints so far. There are only two unpleasant things I think I should mention:
- as I said before, the lack of comments is rather sad. Nobody expects you to comment on everything, let alone to read everything, but it would be nice if some of the lurkers among you at least went back to drop a little comment on their favourite fic/art. If you read something anyway, and you like it, would it hurt to leave a few nice words for the author/artist?
- I can understand why people sometimes drop out of an exchange. But the least you can do is tell the mod about it. The two people who dropped out this time reassured me until the deadline that they were still participating, and then they just disappeared without another word. That kind of behaviour (especially while being active on other LJ comms ...) is just incredibly selfish. I don't want to rant about this for long, I just wanted to say that I really hope this will not happen again next time.
Speaking of next time ... several people have already told me that they'd like to participate in another round of this exchange, and I'm all for it. Of course we'd have to agree on when this next round should take place.

Of course, if we do the next exchange very soon, nothing would stop us from doing another one in spring/early summer.

Since this is the first time I've organised an exchange, some feedback about what you liked or disliked would be nice. Did you dislike anything about the organisation? About the sign-up form? About the posting schedule? About the way I generally ran things? Just let me know. I'm not saying that I will agree with every suggestion, but I definitely want to hear and think about them. ^^ Feel also free to leave any other sort of feedback on the exchange, if it made you discover new pairings, if you want to tell people about your favourite fic/art, whatever.
Oh, and one last question: depending on how much time will pass until the next exchange, would you be interested in participating in a kinkmeme or commentfics or writing challenges here on this comm to tide us over until the next exchange? I'm just asking because I wouldn't mind organising something, but there's no point to it if nobody wants to participate anyway.
