london town
Well back from another fun trip into Europe. Spent the weekend with some fam in cheery ol' london town. Probably the coolest city I have ever been in. The London Underground is so sick, you can seriously get anywhere in the HUGE city that is london on it. Also, it is so similar to an American city, so it was nice being back in tota chaos for once. On my last day there, I went into the city centre and watched the London Marathon. It was seriously the coolest and most empowering (as cheesey as that sounds) thing I've ever seen. I was at the 23 mile mark (out of 26) and people were still running strong. There were like 30,000 people in it, so the entire time there was a never ending flow of people a street wide...craziest thing ever. Thursday is my last day of class, and I have 3 exams and a 3,000 word paper to do. I'll be free of NUIG by May 15th and a few fags come to visit me for a week. I arrive in NYC May 25th and I seriously can't wait to be home and for the summer. It's a beautiful day on Galway Bay so before class I'll upload some pictures from London and of Amsterdam for those who haven't browsed my facebook. Cheers.
