It's all about me.
Had a semiproductive day today. Mailed out three resumes/cover letters in response to specific jobs. I could've sent the resumes via email but we're trying the more 'personal' touch.
I fear that I'm going to be stuck in that limbo of "over qualified" for work I'm willing to do and "under qualified" for work I'd like to tackle. Have been feeling a bit of pity for myself but then heard from a former coworker this afternoon who told me, "Carol, you always were and still are well respected by everyone here at this agency. *E.D* (who shall remain nameless here) has her head up her ass."
Okeh, that stroked my ego nicely! LOL
It would seem that I'm shifting into the year of working with *fire*...I'll have to look that up. However, I'm basing this on the fact that I've been without a working oven for about a month and now w/o a working stove since it was taken apart and now it'll be Monday before the part is delivered to the store (so I can drive two hrs to pick it up, put the stove together, blah blah blah)...
So I've been cleaning the bathroom, hallway and kitchen this afternoon...and I'm *done in*...
