OOOOH what an interesting dystopia! normally in these physical-touch-is-banned there are no matches and homosexuality is a moot point if matches are engineered, so it was nice to see one where homophobia had carried over from ye olde time society and actually gotten worse.

i would have like to see this a bit more fleshed out, but i am the kind of person who gets a little freaked out at the idea of love at first sight type thing lmao so that is just me- i liked the dynamics of it, the caring/not-caring aspects of the parents in play simultaneously (bc i guess it's a little hard to get so fully attached to a test-tube baby you can't have physical contact with) and i'd like to know more about the world (how is how many children each family has decided, it is random, is it consistent, does every family have a daughter and a son)

i also like the comparative freedom in the dystopian setting (people can mingle, protests/activists appear to be a thing, lawyers are a thing)- it's really an interesting take. this was good man rly

i loved the way everything was well put and how things happened, i felt sad over jaebum and youngjae not being able to be 'together' but how jaebum was an incentive for youngjae to keep going, and at the end with mark and jinyoung, the last sentence for me was some sort of hope for a better society and i couldn't stop thinking about youngjae trying his best to change things
