i absolutely loved this fic! even though it's one of the longer entries it was such an effortless read and it flowed so easily. i felt as if i had barely begun reading even when the end of the story was near (i sort of really dig this universe now and can think of a hundred different stories mentioned throughout the fic happening in detail- like i love this whole part of an wonderful and expandable au feel it gives even through such small glimpses).
another point i adore is the characterization- easy to relate to, humane and complicated, layered characters are what i love the most and i think you did a really good job with that. we're seeing things from jb's point of view, so of course his feelings and struggles are the most vivid. i really like how the typical "you complete me, i can't live without you" type of love was taken and was broken-down through the character's prisms and instead of just jumping into that conclusion all of a sudden, jb slowly came to realize it.
as a lot of people have mentioned, you just have an amazing writing style author-ssi ♥ (and it seems sort of familiar too, but i don't wanna jump to conclusions lol. whether i know you or not, i'll probably be familiarizing myself with your other works soon enough). anyways thank you for sharing this story and sorry for my long and annoying comment.
