She's totally terrified, and they're not sending one of their major characters all the way to Providence.

IMO, she's gonna blow it off again, and again, and again. Hopefully, when they go down that route again this year, they'll give her a decent career / story arc.

But I wouldn't bank on it.

I was disappointed last season when they didn't have her stick with a proper job. PR was neat, she's good at it, she should have stuck with it. The whole online media (Trip's campaign) made me laugh because does she really have the finesse to work out a twitter/facebook/website campaign? She certainly couldn't figure out HTML or even how to develop a winsome website, much less how to stick a twitter badge on one because I'm pretty sure she doesn't give a fuck about how online media work... She just uses them. Fail!story, writers, fail!story.

Serena van der Woodsen is a people person. Please realise this.
