It’s strange how much can happen between the rising and falling of the sun. Within the space of a day the world you know can turn around, flipping everything upside down and everything you’ve grown to love taken. That’s how I felt the day I lost you. I wrote you a letter I prayed you’d read but hoped you never would, because I know even then as I stamped the letter, I was bidding farewell to the relationship we were never meant to have, and turning my back on the feelings in which I wrote to you within the envelope.
