title: Itchy Allergy Eyes?
team: Upper East Side
challenge: Spring
character/pairing: Chuck/Blair
rating: PG
author's notes/warnings: None
Spring’s return means allergy season. In a concrete city one would imagine that there would not be a threat of allergies, but there are. Dorota brings in hot tea as Blair sits tucked up in bed, nursing a splitting headache and runny nose. Dorota leaves and Chuck comes out of hiding. He crawls in bed beside her; unafraid of whatever illness she might be carrying for he’s had worse. His instincts urge him to make a pass at her but he resists, moving in only to kiss her soft forehead and drape a cold compress where his lips once laid.
title: Sunscreen
team: Upper East Side
challenge: Spring
character/pairing: Serena/Gabriel
rating: PG
author's notes/warnings: I don’t think there’s anything too spoilery. Just some Serena thoughts in Spain.
Serena lays half naked on the beach beside Gabriel, as she basks in the glow of the sun. His speedo does nothing for his body as she catches his figure out of the corner of her eye. Spain is beautiful, however she misses New York. She misses Eric most of all. She misses the new Serena who would never have done this, but it feels to late too turn back? As she rolls over allowing her back side to be worshipped by everyone around her in addition to the sun, she questions her choices that brought her here this spring.
title: Dead Duck Day
team: Upper East Side
challenge: Spring
character/pairing: Dan and Nate, but not in a sexual way
rating: PG - Drug Use
author's notes/warnings: None
Nate kicks the ball over to Dan as they play a game of soccer in the park. They’d smoked a joint earlier so their game wasn‘t going quite as planned. Spring is back which means their field has been nearly cut in half by the number of bodies that now occupying their preexisting field. Dan kicks if over to Nate in an attempt to set him up for a goal, but misses and manages to hit a duck in the back of the head. They grab their things and run away, not wanting to take responsibility for the dead duck.
