"Do you believe in ghosts?" Nate asked as he and Chuck stood behind the brick school building, passing a joint back and forth. Chuck laughed.
"Ghosts? You can't be serious."
"You know I went to my aunt's last weekend? I swear her house is haunted. There were these weird noises and cold spots. I swear someone was breathing down my neck when I was trying to sleep."
"How high were you?" Chuck asked, entertained.
"That's the thing. I wasn't!"
Chuck quirked a disbelieving eyebrow.
"Okay, maybe I was a little, but not enough to see and hear stuff like that."
"Nathaniel, you never cease to amuse."
