Serena loved Christmas. It had been her favorite holiday since she'd been old enough to comprehend what holidays were. When she was younger her favorite thing had been getting presents from her grandmother. When she was 12 and her mother was dating various men she loved that she could stay home when her mother travelled away with her boyfriends. When she was 13 it became mistletoe. She'd had her first kiss under the mistletoe that year. It had been Nate. She still counted it among the top ten best moments in her life. It had been perfect and Blair had never known.
