Glancing over at the mistletoe she winced again. Nate and Vanessa certainly didn't seem to have any problems flaunting their relationship. Jenny sighed. She shouldn't have come. Eric had invited her and she was supposed to be meeting his new boyfriend, but she didn't sign up for this. She didn't sign up to have her heart squeezed out of her chest. She didn't sign up for coming in second to Vanessa. She didn't want this! She deserved better. And she would keep telling herself that even if she deserved every second of it. Cause she did and she knew it.
