Today, in case some of you have forgotten, is September 30th, 2005.
We're still flying.
To the newbies: Please consider going to see this movie. There is someone on my flist (who I hope doesn't mind being mentioned) who saw it in Australia yesterday, having no prior knowledge from the series, and loved it so much that they literally went out of the cinema and bought the Firefly boxset straight after. It's not 'boring sci-fi' or anything else you could label it. It's fun and it's real and I challenge you not to love it. See? That's a dare. Now you have to go and see it. :P
And if you see it and you love it, please... tell your friends. And give in to that urge to go and see it again.
To the Browncoats: You're already going to see this movie. That much is certain. So please, take your friends. Take your family. Take your friend's cousin's postman's neighbour. Make sure that everybody you know knows about this movie and try to get them sitting in seats. And when you love this movie, give in to the urge to see it again and again and again.
And if you don't like it, for whatever reason, for the love of god be quiet about it. Don't ruin our chances for the rest of us.
